Creating a publish action

A publish action changes the status of an item from "draft" to "published".

About this task

To create a publish action, open the applications menu and go to Content > Web Content Management and then click New > Workflow Actions > Publish Action.
  1. Defining identification details for the publish action
    Specify identification information for the publish action, including the name, title and description of the publish action.
  2. Specify a location for the publish action
    When creating a publish action you can specify the location of the publish action.
  3. Define additonal publish action properties
    Specify properties for the publish action, including the list of authors and owners associated with the publish action.
  4. Defining publish action access settings
    Specify the access control settings for the publish action to determine which users have access to the publish action and their level of access.
