Creating a date and time component

You create a date and time component when you want to reuse a date and time component in multiple places in your website.

About this task

To create a date and time component, open the applications menu and go to Content > Web Content Management and then click New > Component > Date and Time.
  1. Date and time component identification
    Specify identification information for the component, including the name, title and description of the component.
  2. Specify a location for the date and time component
    When creating a component you can specify the location of the component.
  3. Specifying a date and time
    Use the date and time element to define the date and time to store in this component.
  4. Date and time component properties
    Specify properties for the component, including the list of authors and owners associated with the component.
  5. Defining date and time component access
    Specify the access control settings for the component to determine which users have access to the component and their level of access.
